DIRECTIONS OT W3PIE - UNIONTOWN AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Detailed maps for driving directions are available by following the links below: 1. AREA MAP: Click here for a map of the area. This is for those not real familiar with where Uniontown is located - it should bring you in close. NOTE the red shaded area on the map. 2. LOCAL MAP: Click here for the more detailed look at the specific area that is highlighted in map one. This map will highlight the route, in red, from Route 119 to our location. Specific driving directions are listed below. Please note there are many new roads in the Uniontown Area near Uniontown Amateur Radio Club. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has made many changes putting in PA 43. If coming from Pittsburgh—US RT 51 to Uniontown, Just before the US RT 119 intersection in the vicinity of Giant Eagle, there will be a stop light at Northgate Highway. Turn Right onto Northgate Highway. Follow this to the top of the hill and turn Right onto Old Pittsburgh Rd. Please note that Old Pittsburgh Rd intersects with Northgate Highway on the left just before the top of the hill. You will be turning Right onto Old Pittsburgh Rd approximately ¼ mile after this point. Follow Old Pittsburgh Rd to W3PIE. Coming from Anywhere else, follow US RT 119 to RT51 Intersection. Take RT51 towards Pittsburgh, turn left onto Northgate Highway and follow remainder of directions listed above. |
